I’m sure you know by now how much I absolutely love engagement sessions. I think they’re so much fun, and such an amazing opportunity for couples to get to know their photographer before the wedding, while also having the chance to take some incredible photos that truly represent them as a couple. This shoot on the California coast is such a great example of that. I love how perfectly simple it is – neutral, semi-casual outfits, an empty beach without any props, minimal gold jewelry – yet each aspect came together perfectly to create really special images. Hannah and Tony have such a sweet, fun love, and I think that’s so obvious in these images. My favorite are the few of them just having fun together in the water – doesn’t Hannah have the most beautiful smile? I can’t wait to be back in California in April to photograph some more lovely couples with my dear friend, Kayla Yestal!
