Springtime in Oregon is the most beautiful, and the most unpredictible. One day you’re blasting your AC, the next day you’re watching the rainstorms from under a cozy blanket inside. It’s my favorite time of year for shoots, but can also be tricky with the looming threat of rain. (Typical Oregon.) Luckily, Becca and Griffin were blessed with the PERFECT spring day for their engagement session in the Columbia Gorge. It truly could not have been better.
Wahclella Falls is not only beautiful, but also happened to be where Bec and Griff had their first date! These two go on hikes and adventures all the time, but it was so fun to get to photograph them in a spot that had some sweet memories and meaning tied to it. We had such a great time on this short hike, enjoying some of the beauty our amazing state has to offer. It’s so obvious how much Becca and Griffin love spending time together – they’re totally in love! Easily my favorite part of this shoot was when I said to Griffin, “try to make her laugh!” and before Griffin did anything, Becca was already saying “that isn’t going to be difficult,” and he instantly had her cracking up. They’re definitely going to make a fun husband and wife duo.
I loved this engagement session, and I’m so excited for their fall wedding at Urban Studio in Portland!
